My Story

Hi, my name is Jayde Syrnyk (Gorling) and I’m the writer of Be Part of The Action. I’ve been a digital marketer for over 15 years helping small businesses generate more leads using paid advertising. My primary role has been advertising strategy and creative. Over the years I’ve dabbled in many online ventures including ecommerce stores, affiliate marketing, selling information products, coaching programs, and more recently AI services for businesses. Some have had more success than others and some have had some pretty remarkable exits. I’ve been fortunate enough to invest a lot of my profits quite wisely into various business ventures and real estate. Which for me means that today I get to spend a bit more time being part of the action and enjoying my hobbies such as mountain biking, snowboarding, trail running, cross country skiing, hiking (+ so much more) – and having the pleasure of writing about my experiences.

While I still have several active businesses and sometimes find myself working long days with limited days off, my husband, Zachary and our two dogs have the ability to choose our own hours and live life on our own terms. We spend most of our time exploring Alberta and British Columbia.

The truth is – I spent way too many years of my life living in fear and hiding behind a keyboard allowing my health and life satisfaction to dwindle as I focused so heavily on my career and growing businesses. So my goal is to inspire more people to Be Part of The Action and pick up new adventure hobbies and action sports to enhance their physical and mental health, relationships, and overall satisfaction – much like they did for me.
